Cha-ChingersWow. I can tell a lot of work went into transforming the scan into a beautiful vector. The colours are well chosen and nicely harmonized. I am not particularly fond of the font (or just the light effect behind it). I think it'd be cool if you could have flower petals fall on the font or something (just to relate to the pretty pattern on her kimono).

yup, it's a lot work when you did in Illustrator instead of Photoshop, and a plus of you didn't know so well the colors around all the scan... about the font...
*without words*Maybe as you said she will look more beautiful with flower petals falling around her, maybe in a future...

I am trying to achieve a grungy totally broken feeling to the wallpaper. Like a form of sadness you would find when you went backstage and you see all these groupies, together, totally drunk, drugged half to death willingly and this blaring music in the background.
I dunno about you, but I personally feel it like nothing else.
You know, that strange effect from the after party? The Rolling Stones can give you the best feeling if you look at this wallpaper and listen to some of their hard core songs.

Thanks for the comment on my Hisagi wallpaper. I'm glad you like it.I really like the concept and the layout. Very nicely portrayed mellow atmosphere with the rain. This could be a scene from a music video or a screen cap. Now, I am going to be really nitpicky and say that adding smaller ripples from raindrops in thef foreground would really complete the illusion. Well done! ^:^
